MEET JACKIE:

Jackie is an interior stylist living the GTA who works for a local design firm. As a TV Host, Mom to Be and Interior Decorator she has a lot to share. She actually started this blog as a passion project back in 2012 to write about entertainment stories, beauty and fashion. If you go way way way back you’ll find those posts. Jackie discovered a passion for home projects and started documenting her journey. From building her first home with her husband Ryan, moving in, building their second home and of course all of the DIY projects she created as the DIY Guru for Morning Live on CHCH News… you’ll find it all here. After graduating with a degree in Media, Theory and Production from The University of Western Ontario, Jackie continued her education in Television Broadcasting at Fanshawe College. Having a production background and taking courses in both Photoshop and Final Cut have been assets that expand her Interior Design Services:

Backstory: Jaclyn started her career at CHCH News in 2012 with an internship where she worked the studio cameras. With ambition to be in front of the camera Jaclyn studied meteorology and learned how to use WSI (the weather system at the station). For four and a half years she co-hosted the earliest morning show in all of Canada, co-hosted one of the longest running children’s programs in all of Canada (Tiny Talent Time) and was the DIY Guru for Morning Live. Her career came to an abrupt halt when CHCH went bankrupt in December 2015. Since then, Jaclyn have made appearances on The Marc and Mandy Show and was a Host at The Shopping Channel in Canada. With a passion for interiors and an eye for design she decided to make a career out of her true passion: Interior Design.
